A-Level Biology Tutor
About Us
At LSL, we foster a passion for the biological sciences through bespoke tutoring that strengthens both theoretical understanding and practical skills, leading to excellent A-Level results.
The Role
We require a Biology A-Level Tutor specialising in AQA, Edexcel or OCR. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and delivering lessons in cell biology, physiology, genetics, ecology and practical techniques
- Creating targeted exam practice and coursework support
- Tracking student achievement and providing constructive feedback
- Advising on practical endorsements and experiment write-ups
- Collaborating with colleagues to share best practice
- Teaching during weekday evenings and weekends
What We’re Looking For?
- A degree in Biology or a related discipline; PGCE/QTS desirable
- Minimum two years’ experience teaching A-Level Biology
- Strong grasp of practical assessment criteria and examinable content
- Excellent communication skills and a motivational teaching style
