The Role
We are looking for an A-Level Physics Tutor (AQA, Edexcel or OCR). Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering one-to-one and small-group lessons covering mechanics, electricity, waves, quantum physics and practical skills
- Designing bespoke lesson plans and practice examinations
- Monitoring student progress and adapting teaching methods accordingly
- Offering guidance on practical endorsements and coursework
- Maintaining clear communication with parents and centre management
- Availability for weekday evenings and some weekends
What We’re Looking For?
- A 2:1 (or above) in Physics or a closely related degree; Physics PGCE/QTS is a plus
- At least two years’ experience teaching A-Level Physics
- Deep understanding of exam board requirements and practical assessment
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Enthusiasm for the subject and the ability to inspire students
